Plug and Play TCP

• TCP is the engine that moves Internet.
• TCP delivers data correctly and controls traffic, as a network doesn't jam.
• As a result, performace of TCP will decide how convenient the Internet is.

But....

As a skill person doesn't tune TCP, there is the case that TCP doesn't work normally!

• Transmission and ACK process of TCP are deadlock in some environment.
• Applications must set up a window size.
• Slow start becomes slow start truely with a wide band and long delay environment.
• Performace of TCP is bad in a datalink that doesn't control a transmission.

• Current TCP can't realize a Plug and Play.
• My research interest is to make sure that the performance of TCP will remain 'normal' without coordinating by the users.
